We are growing rapidly!

 The new Boat Building Shop
This is good and bad.  Short term the moving may cause us lots of problems, long term we should be better able to meet the needs of our customers.  The old Boat Shop was 4,800 square feet.  The new Boat Shop is 50,000 square feet.  Yes you read that correctly.  The new building is more than 10 times bigger than the old one.  Bigger buildings bring bigger headaches but eventually it will allow us to build more boats faster and do a lot more repairs faster.  Everything can be inside!  Now we need to keep it busy year round.  As of today we are 16 weeks out.  Do the math that is 4 months.  Obviously we have a fair number of firm orders.  Dyna-Ski boats has lots of recreational and ski team shoppers and Recon Fishing Boats is doing well also.  The skiff business is slow thankfully.

Final testing before shipment to the Caribbean
 Our international distribution is growing.
This 20' Open Bow Dyna-Ski boat will be pulling guests of the resort on the ocean.

Jason with Badgerland's Triple Evinrude 300 G2's pulled numerous
Guinness World Records this year.
Please don't try this maneuver at home.

The most powerful Dyna-Ski ever was built with
three 350 hp Mercury Verado Engines
Aquanuts driver Todd Renn the owner of Twin Lakes Marine built their third triple.  So the Twin Lakes Aquanuts now have three triples and two inboard tow boats.

Dyna-Ski and Recon are growing.  Dyna-Ski Boats are all custom made to order and there are no plans to change this method of making sure all our customers get exactly what they desire because people seem to buy their last boat from us and keep them. This is why there are seldom any used Dyna-Ski Boats available.  We have come a long ways and will be around for a long time to come.  You should know by now that we are a boat building company that also does repairs and upholstery.  The repair business allows us to see how the other companies build their boats so we also learn from them both the good and bad.  We repair lots of inboard water ski boats and fishing boats.  Doing upholstery work means we buy more materials which helps lower our material costs a great deal.  Repair and upholstery work ultimately helps the bottom line and keeps the staff busy.  Keep in mind that we can never have to many new boat orders but the line gets longer quicker than even I think it will.  The repair business fits in well filling the holes (time) in the boat building cycle. It is a fact that the prices of most everything go up every year so waiting means you pay more and missed out on a season or more of fun on the water.

Soon it will be summer!
What are you waiting for?
